Reader's Advisory

put a favorite book on reader's advisory- the directions are confusing about the tag- it seems this entire project (web 2.0) is poorly thought out, organized and presented - enjoyed the live presentation- but due to the difficulity imposed by the organization i have not learned as much as i could and certainly have not liked to process

Wiki-"vandals"

it is too bad that some people post inaccurate info on sites - wiki sites can be very useful but i continue to mistrust the sites and often as a result other info found on the web.

sending library message

good that librarian learn new communication processes-will we go faster into the future use of internet leaving our poorer, older, and less technical smart partons behind- beware of what you wish for

IM-Libraries

use IM to reach daughter in europe- like it for online conversation- wish the message info was saved easily on line- concern about spread of viruses- question it im part of library services and web 2.0 so important -why can not check my email on this computer-

uncertain asto value of blogg search in a library- can see value in current info news items-technoratic appeared ease to use- whenever went to feedster got message - server not found- tried several times-

in general the idea is positive- like the availability of market news readily available-since the economy is so fluid the info will be useful in attempting to understand/spot a trend- concern about the number of articles clogging my in box
